Metro TV is Indonesia's first 24-hour news channel, based in West Jakarta. The station was established on 25 November 2000 and now has over 53 transmission sites all over the country. It is owned by Surya Paloh who also owns the Media Indonesia daily. These two, along with other newspapers distributed in different parts of Indonesia, are part of the Media Group.

It is the only TV station to offer Mandarin news and no sinetron (soap opera) programs in Indonesia, although recently the station has also begun to broadcast entertainment and multicultural programs such as the tech show "e-Lifestyle," the satirical news and current affairs show "Republik Mimpi" (The Dream Republic), musical programming such as Musik + and Idenesia, and other special or regional programming.

tvOne is an Indonesian privately owned national television station based in East Jakarta. It used to be known as Lativi, but changed its name after an ownership swap in February 2008. tvOne is owned by Visi Media Asia.

As part of the boom in national television stations in the 2000s, Lativi was one of five new national television networks which were granted a license to broadcast nationwide in Indonesia. It was initially owned by Abdul Latief, previously Minister of Labor and also a famous entrepreneur.

E4 is a British digital television channel, launched as a pay-TV companion to Channel 4 on 18 January 2001. The "E" stands for entertainment, and the channel is mainly aimed at the lucrative 15–35 age group.

Programming includes US imports such as The Cleveland Show, The O.C., Smallville, Veronica Mars, Everwood, What About Brian?, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, 90210, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Rules of Engagement, The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Revenge, and formerly Friends. Some US imports, such as Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty are screened on E4 up to one week ahead of their Channel 4 broadcasts. Its most successful broadcast to date was on 11 October 2010 when an episode of The Inbetweeners pulled in over 3.7 million viewers.

BBC Three is a television channel from the BBC broadcasting via digital cable, terrestrial, IPTV and satellite platforms. BBC Two is the second television channel operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian television station. The channel is the second private television station in Indonesia after RCTI.

SCTV began broadcasting on August 24, 1990 in Surabaya, East Java as Surabaya Centra Televisi, broadcasting to the city and the surrounding area. CBBC BBC

CBBC is a BBC Television channel aimed at 6 to 12 year olds. Launched on 11 February 2002, it broadcasts from 7am to 7pm on Freeview, cable, IPTV and digital satellite, occupying the same bandwidth as, but a different channel position from BBC Three. CBeebies is its sister service for younger children. Since 27 March 2013, CBBC has been carried by the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), sharing a channel with BBC Two.

The channel was named Channel of the Year at the Children's BAFTA awards in November 2008. The channel averages 300,000 viewers daily.

The CBBC strand was originally launched on 9 September 1985 on BBC One, and was eventually launched as a separate channel running alongside the strand in 2002 on all major platforms. It had to share bandwidth with another channel on the DTT platform: this was initially BBC Knowledge on the ITV Digital platform, but following their collapse, the channel shared bandwidth with BBC Choice on the replacement system Freeview. In both cases, the channels could be accessed by separate numbers.

After Dark was a British late-night live discussion programme broadcast on Channel 4 television between 1987 and 1997, and on the BBC in 2003. Roly Keating of the BBC described it as "one of the great television talk formats of all time". In 2010 the television trade magazine Broadcast wrote "After Dark defined the first 10 years of Channel 4, just as Big Brother did for the second".

MNCTV

MNCTV (previously named TPI) is an Indonesian private television station that broadcasts in the terrestrial from Jakarta. His name is now used since October 20, 2010.

MNCTV is the third private television station in Indonesia after RCTI and SCTV. MNCTV founded by Sister Tutut and used largely owned by PT Cipta Lamtoro Gung Persada.

In 2009 to 2010, MNCTV not broadcast sporting events. However, from 2010 to 2013, MNCTV back to broadcast sporting events, namely the Premiership.

In 2011, MNCTV also have rights in the event of League football Prima Indonesia, along with RCTI and Global TV.

ITV is a commercial TV network in the United Kingdom. Launched in 1955 as Independent Television under the auspices of the Independent Television Authority (ITA, then after the Sound Broadcasting Act 1972, Independent Broadcasting Authority, now Ofcom) to provide competition to the BBC, it is also the oldest commercial network in the UK.

Since the passing of the Broadcasting Act 1990 its legal name has been Channel 3, to distinguish it from the other analogue channels at the time, namely BBC 1, BBC 2 and Channel 4. In part, the number 3 was assigned as television sets would usually be tuned so that the regional ITV station would be on the third button, with the other stations being allocated to the number within their name.

The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is a professional wrestling governing body which has historically been the largest league of independent wrestling promotions in the world. The organization sanctions various NWA Championship bouts within its member promotions. The NWA has been in operation since 1948.
