Al Jazeera Documentary

Al Jazeera Documentary is an Arabic language documentary channel and a branch of the Al Jazeera network.

Al Jazeera Documentary Channel (Arabic: الجزيرة الوثائقية) is an international satellite Arabic language film and documentary channel and a branch of the Al Jazeera Media Network based in Doha, Qatar.

It was launched at 12:00 GMT on 1 January 2007. It aims to provide viewers an immense amount of high quality documentary films. These films cover and analyze a breadth of topics including historical, scientific, political, artistic, and travel issues.

The channel produces 15% of broadcast material in-house, while obtaining the rest from Arab and global producers. It also produces documentaries for Al Jazeera Arabic and assists in producing documentaries for other Al Jazeera channels like Al Jazeera English. The channel is housed in a separate building on the Al Jazeera Media Network campus in Doha, Qatar.

The channel was the first of its kind in the Arabic-speaking world. As the Al Jazeera Documentary Arabic-speaking, they pay attention primarily to Arab viewers wherever they are, and seek through the production of documentaries and various activities which serve recreational closely linked to human values and cultural respects the viewer, and abide by the Charter of the press. The channel is said to focus in four areas Informatics, Awareness, Technical and Interestingness.

TV One

tvOne is an Indonesian privately owned national television station based in East Jakarta. It used to be known as Lativi, but changed its name after an ownership swap in February 2008. tvOne is owned by Visi Media Asia.

As part of the boom in national television stations in the 2000s, Lativi was one of five new national television networks which were granted a license to broadcast nationwide in Indonesia. It was initially owned by Abdul Latief, previously Minister of Labor and also a famous entrepreneur.

Trans7 was established as TV7 based on permission of the Department of Trade and Industry in Central Jakarta No. 809/BH.09.05/III/2000. 88% of its share is largely owned by Kompas Gramedia; the rest is owned by Bakrie & Brothers(the conglomerate owned by Aburizal Bakrie, which owns ANTV). On November 25, 2001, the existence of TV7 was published in State Gazette No. 8687 as PT Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh. The logo itself is the letters "JO", which stands for Jakob Oetama, the owner of Kompas Gramedia.

RCTI (Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia) is Indonesia's first privately owned television network and is based in West Jakarta. RCTI broadcasts Indonesian Idol as well as sinetron (soap operas), films, news and current affairs, reality shows and religious programs. Its only news and current affair program is Seputar Indonesia (Around Indonesia). Presenters include Michael Tjandra, Inne Sudjono, Dian Mirza, Ariyo Ardi, and Tasya Sarief.

NET. (abbreviation of News and Entertainment Television) is a television station network in Indonesia, which was officially launched on 26 May 2013. NET. replace terrestrial broadcasting Spacetoon Indonesia that most shares have been taken over by Indika Group. In contrast to the show Spacetoon intended for children, programs .NET. aimed at families and younger audiences.

SCTV

Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian television station. The channel is the second private television station in Indonesia after RCTI.

SCTV began broadcasting on August 24, 1990 in Surabaya, East Java as Surabaya Centra Televisi, broadcasting to the city and the surrounding area. At first, the programming was similar to that of RCTI, using some of their news programs until they could produce their own. On August 1, 1993, SCTV obtained a national license and eventually moved its operations to Jakarta, changing its name to Surya Citra Televisi.

Its main office is in Central Jakarta, with studios in West Jakarta. It is owned by Surya Citra Media, part of the technology solution company Emtek.

On February 18, 2011, the commissioners of its parent companies Indosiar and SCTV agreed to a merger, although this was subject to government approval due to both companies going public.

MNCTV

MNCTV (previously named TPI) is an Indonesian private television station that broadcasts in the terrestrial from Jakarta. His name is now used since October 20, 2010.

MNCTV is the third private television station in Indonesia after RCTI and SCTV. MNCTV founded by Sister Tutut and used largely owned by PT Cipta Lamtoro Gung Persada.

In 2009 to 2010, MNCTV not broadcast sporting events. However, from 2010 to 2013, MNCTV back to broadcast sporting events, namely the Premiership.
