University of Washington Television (known simply as UWTV) is an educational television service from the University of Washington (UW), originating from Seattle. Through on air, online and mobile distribution formats, UWTV serves as an ambassador to the scholarship, discoveries and breakthrough science of the nation’s top ranked public research university, and also showcases campus culture, from sports to student activities.

Via cable television, UWTV is available in more than 2 million homes in Washington state. UW programs are accessible to another 40 million homes throughout the world through Research Channel.

Food Network

Food Network (legally known as Television Food Network) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by Television Food Network, G.P., a joint venture between Scripps Networks Interactive (which owns 70% of the network) and the Tribune (FN) Cable Ventures Inc. (which owns the remaining 30%). Despite this ownership structure, the channel is managed as a division of Scripps Networks Interactive. The channel airs both specials and regular episodic programs about food and cooking.

In addition to its headquarters in New York City, Food Network has offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, Jersey City, Cincinnati, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Channel 5

Channel 5 is a television network that broadcasts in the United Kingdom. It was launched in 1997, and was the fifth and final national terrestrial analogue network after BBC1, ITV, BBC2 and Channel 4. It is generally the fifth-placed network in the country in audience share, and has been since its inception.

The station was branded as Five between 2002 and 2011, when it was owned by the RTL Group. Richard Desmond purchased the station from RTL on 23 July 2010, announcing plans to invest more money in programming and return to the name Channel 5 with immediate effect, and it was relaunched on 14 February 2011. On 1 May 2014 the channel was acquired by Viacom for £450 million (US$759 million).

Metro TV

Metro TV is Indonesia's first 24-hour news channel, based in West Jakarta. The station was established on 25 November 2000 and now has over 53 transmission sites all over the country. It is owned by Surya Paloh who also owns the Media Indonesia daily. These two, along with other newspapers distributed in different parts of Indonesia, are part of the Media Group.

It is the only TV station to offer Mandarin news and no sinetron (soap opera) programs in Indonesia, although recently the station has also begun to broadcast entertainment and multicultural programs such as the tech show "e-Lifestyle," the satirical news and current affairs show "Republik Mimpi" (The Dream Republic), musical programming such as Musik + and Idenesia, and other special or regional programming.
